New York Log Home Repair Project: Camp Topridge Restoration
American Log Restoration was awarded the opportunity to restore one of the only ten Adirondack great camps listed in the National Register of Historic Places – Camp Topridge. It consists of an expansive main lodge, a sprawling village of adjacent buildings built on a ridge between two lakes. The spectacular living has 4,000 sq. foot of space and 25’ beam ceilings, oak and mahogany floors with huge stone fireplaces at either end. There is a sense of space, lots of quality space.
This work was featured in Architectural Digest – The International Magazine of Interior Design and Architecture – in June of 1999. The article is Camp Topridge Revisited, Renewing Marjorie Merriweather, Post’s Adirondack Legend.
